Using 3.3-Release. smb.conf is ok (based on testparm). Starting /usr/local/sbin/smbd -D; /usr/local/sbin/nmbd -D The sbmd and nmbd lines are commented out in inet.conf. nmbd looks ok..it finds broadcast info, etc. Getting the following in the log file: [1999/12/11 22:28:07, 0] smbd/oplock.c:open_oplock_ipc(92) open_oplock_ipc: Failed to get local UDP socket for address 100007f. Error was Can't assign requested address Any ideas where I'm screwing up?
