https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D283725 Bug ID: 283725 Summary: x11/kde5: Power manager defaults to sleep after 15 minutes idle Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: kde@FreeBSD.org Reporter: jwb@freebsd.org Assignee: kde@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(kde@FreeBSD.org) Upon routine testing of the KDE option of sysutils/desktop-installer, I not= iced that my test machine went to sleep after a short time after logging into KD= E. I don't think this is the best default, given that: 1. suspend/resume doesn't work on all hardware 2. FreeBSD machines often have some sort of remote access enabled I'd suggest tweaking the appropriate port to change the default to lock scr= een. This will lead to better first impressions for new FreeBSD users. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
