I think that for people not using SCTP it does not hurt, for people using SCTP it is a great help, because they do not have to compile a kernel on their own. Linux and Solaris are now delivered with SCTP support enabled. FreeBSD does have the SCTP implementation with the most advanced features and it is a nice platform for people writing SCTP applications. So is it possible to enable SCTP by default?
