NFSv4 (RFC2624 and RFC3010) has support for ACLs. There are no plans to bring NFSv4 that I am aware of. The first OpenSource OS NFSv4 implemetations probably will be available on Linux and OpenBSD. The new RPC code in -current and the cleanup of the vnode code should pave the way for NFSv4 in FreeBSD.
