The one you've got is pretty good; I'm having good luck with a Dayna PCI card. The NE2000 compatible adapters work well too, I had one in my Pentium for about a year. CAP runs off our 486/25 server with a NE2000 with no problem as well. Since this is current, you might consider asking current@freebsd.org.
