To: freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG Date: Fri, 22 Jan 1999 16:23:02 -0500 (EST) X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.4ME+ PL43 (25)] MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I have a machine that has been tracking stable since 2.2 release (or even earlier) and have been waiting for 3.0 stable to do a hardware upgrade (SMP) and fresh installation. I can imagine I've accumulated a lot of gunk over the ages... That said, will there be a snapshot that I just download and install from of 3.0-stable? I mean, a snapshot that I won't have to do the a.out to ELF process, etc.? The snapshot server doesn't seem to have made the move to 3.0 stable yet.
