But every news transport link is point to point, and a LOT of places
use things other than NNTP server mode. I use UUCP and NNTP reader
mode, for example, and most ISPs would rather feed their corporate
clients with something the *clients* can control so they don't have
to spend support hours patching newsfeeds files.
