--Qxx1br4bt0+wmkIi Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I have a system today with a vinum disk setup. I'd like to install new FreeBSD (5.1) with the same disk layout. Here's what I'm wondering: Can I load the vinum module before the installer from the install CD, thus allowing the installer to see the existing file systems? I think if I can do this I should be able to tell the installer to newfs them and do an install saving a lot of trouble over the more manual vinum install procedure. If this should work, how do I load the kernel module from the new boot loader? --=20 Leo Bicknell - bicknell@ufp.org - CCIE 3440 PGP keys at http://www.ufp.org/~bicknell/ Read TMBG List - tmbg-list-request@tmbg.org, www.tmbg.org --Qxx1br4bt0+wmkIi Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE/nuQqNh6mMG5yMTYRAoOyAJ9iM+yXLcAkKqKpvXq9lnWhSh5cqACdFzCA /YBo0dQLdCHYfz9lLvfpCh0= =aSHk -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Qxx1br4bt0+wmkIi--
