Can anyone confirm whether or not the CERC ATA RAID card that is a BTO option on the PowerEdge 500SC servers works with FreeBSD ? From some searching on the net it appears to be a rebadged AMI MegaRAID card of some description (so chances are good), but I'd like to know if someone has actually tried to use one of these RAID controllers before I order the machine...
