When I initially tried this I got: mount_nullfs /usr/ports /usr/local/jails/jail1 mount_nullfs: Operation not supported by device Since info on nullfs seems to very scarce I thought I'd mention here that to use nullfs it requires the kernel module compiled and loaded which fixes the above.
