Hello Everyone,

I have placed the following in rc.local:

ifconfig_ed2_alias1="xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx netmask 255.255.255.255"

When I ping the specified address I get:

ping: sendto: Host is down

What have I done wrong?

By the way, I am sure it ddi work once!
