Your observation seems correct to me but I've never seen this problem. If t=
his
problem occurs, i.e. if we miss sending the FIN, keepalive would kick in and
it's response would cause us to send RST as the application has closed.

I'll try to spend some time on it to look at the code more closely. Thanks =

BTW, did you see this happen anywhere? or is this just from the code
inspection?
