[Bounced from FreeBSD-Doc to FreeBSD-Questions] Oliver, the right place to ask such questions is FreeBSD-Questions. I bounced the message there. Anyway, the answer you're seeking is you did not download the right floppy image. Make sure you download two images, both about 1440k big, named kern.flp and mfsroot.flp. The kern.flp you used does not contain what is expected.
