The ELF versions of various libraries (like libpng and libgif) are there--locate finds them. But the elf loader still chokes. I rebuild png, now the apps are missing other things. I have run ldconfig by hand. Anybody know the magic here? thanks, gary PS: I searched the archives because there were similar questions posted here, I think...
