Hi, I've running 8-stable for a while now, upgradet from 6.4 a fiew months ago. Since then, I've problems with dump to my "Quantum DLT4000 CC28". While dumping a larger filesystem as the tape can hold, I always get this after changing the tape: # dump L0uaf /dev/nsa1 -b 64 -C 16 /data [..] DUMP: 66.63% done, finished in 2:22 at Mon May 17 17:04:58 2010 DUMP: 67.69% done, finished in 2:18 at Mon May 17 17:05:41 2010 DUMP: 68.73% done, finished in 2:14 at Mon May 17 17:06:27 2010 DUMP: End of tape detected DUMP: Closing /dev/nsa1 DUMP: Change Volumes: Mount volume #2 DUMP: Is the new volume mounted and ready to go?: ("yes" or "no") yes DUMP: Volume 2 begins with blocks from inode 15003275 DUMP: EOT detected at start of the tape! DUMP: The ENTIRE dump is aborted. No, it's not he tape, nor the DLT. Has anyone seen this? How can I fix this? Kind Regards, Holm -- Technik Service u.
