Thank you very much for your help.

I could finally create my root account with your guide lines :)

I booted into single user mode, added a correct entry into the
/etc/master.passwd
file, and used pwd_mkdb -p /etc/master.passwd before changing the root
password.

Sorry again for my newbie question. Now I know a little bit more about the
way
FreeBSD manages its accounts :)
