Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Dear sirs I installed vnc_unix into FreeBSD3.4/i386 and FreeBSD4.0/Alpha. In the directory of Xvnc, "make World"for two bsd finished without any special error. But, I couldn't find Xvnc in FreeBSD4.0/Alpha, but in FreeBSD3.4/i386 . Xvnc of freebsd/i386 works well. I have no idea of the reason. vnc cannot build Xvnc for FreeBSD/Alpha? 1)vnc_unixsrc/Xvnc/programs/Xserver in FreeBSD3.4/intel part of log (make world) make xmakefile ./config/imake/imake -I./config/cf -s xmakefile -DTOPDIR=. -DCURDIR=. make -f xmakefile VerifyOS Building on FreeBSD 3.4-RELEASE i386 (3.4.0). make -f xmakefile Makefiles making Makefiles in include... mv -f Makefile Makefile.bak # ls -l Xserver total 1269 -r--r--r-- 1 root wheel 55891 Nov 27 1998 Imakefile -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 28124 Jun 17 01:48 Makefile<----------- drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 1024 Jun 17 01:52 Xext drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 512 May 29 05:46 Xprint -r--r--r-- 1 root wheel 26057 Mar 2 1998 Xserver.man -rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 1154445 Jun 17 01:55 Xvnc<------------- drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 3072 Jun 17 01:53 cfb drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 3072 Jun 17 01:53 cfb16 drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 3072 Jun 17 01:54 cfb24 drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 3072 Jun 17 01:54 cfb32 drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 1536 Jun 17 01:51 dix drwxr-xr-x 4 root wheel 512 May 29 05:46 hw drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 1024 Jun 17 01:49 include drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 2560 Jun 17 01:52 mfb drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 2048 Jun 17 01:51 mi drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 1024 Jun 17 01:51 os 2)vnc_unixsrc/Xvnc/programs/Xserver in FreeBSD4.0/Alpha part of log (make World) make xmakefile ./config/imake/imake -I./config/cf -s xmakefile -DTOPDIR=. -DCURDIR=.
