This is a bit of an FAQ.  You need to do a:

portupgrade -rf Xft

To clear up the Xft issue after the recent renaming of the library.=20
After doing that, you can remove /usr/local/lib/compat/pkg/libXft.so.1
and /usr/X11R6/lib/libXft2.so.2, and you'll be good to go.
