I'd like to thank these people that has given me fresh confidence and the knowledge that there are many people from the Linux and FreeBSD groups ready to assist when the going gets tough learning and using UN*X systems, Jeremy Shaffner Brett Taylor Jamie Lawrence 2) Now, I plan to purchase a new hard disk, SOLELY for the purpose of installing and learning Linux and perhaps FreeBSD too. 2.1) Is it advisable to install more than one Linux OS on the same hard disk but on different partitions? E.g. Red Hat, Slackware and FreeBSD on separate partitions. 2.2) Based on above example of the 3 products, how many partitions must I create to install the above three? 2.3) Do I need additional partitions for swap space? (My PC is a standard Pentium 200 with 64 Mb RAM) Thanks, Randy Foo Jong Suan Email: rand@post1.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
