The line in question:
if (!PWALTDIR() && getarg(args, 'm') != NULL && pwd->pw_dir && *pwd->pw_dir == '/' && pwd->pw_dir[1]) {
The conditional !PWALTDIR() looks like the culprit. It may also be there
for some reason...
This is under 4.0-CURRENT but I'd guess you'll fine the same code somewhere
in your file.
