STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM : 1. Download Poseidon UML for Community edition 1.3 to FreeBSD client. 2. Install 3. Run ./startPoseidon EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR : As with most java code, I expect the application to begin normally. This is what indeed happens with most apps on my computer.
