I find my system is very slow when it playing mp3 file. I use top command to see system load, I find the xmms only take <10% system source! But the system is 0% idle! At this time I only run xmms and gnome 1.4! Before I run xmms, the system is >80% idle. Why my system is going this? Even I use mpg123(also install from source form ports) to play mp3 song, I still find my system is slow down! In MS Window, the speed is NOT slow down when I play mp3. My system is FreeBSD-current, K7-700, 256M ram. Best Regard. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get email alerts & NEW webcam video instant messaging with Yahoo!
