J"org, Thanks for the response. I have some of the docs for the tape drive here. How do I want the drive to behave? Should I look at the driver and add a quirk entry to increase a timeout value? Is there some SCSI debugging/verbosity I can turn on to help find this problem? I'm also wondering if I should spend the effort to put a similar tape drive into a -current system I have, just to see how CAM handles things.
