Some details: I'm running -CURRENT (two weeks old or so), FreeBSD/amd64, /etc/malloc.conf -> aj (I have exactly the same with /etc/malloc.conf -> AJ). As for bmpx, you could download it here: http://files.beep-media-player.org/releases/0.21/bmpx-0.21.0.tar.bz2. It builds fine on FreeBSD so it would not be much problem to compile it. PS Please CC.
