https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D244488 Bug ID: 244488 Summary: x11-fonts/font-manager: [MAINTAINER] removes EOL Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Keywords: easy, patch, patch-ready Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: portmaster@bsdforge.com Attachment #212012 maintainer-approval+ Flags: Flags: maintainer-feedback+ Created attachment 212012 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D212012&action= =3Dedit svn diff for x11-fonts/font-manager x11-fonts/font-manager is currently marked with an EOL because it uses python27. While I understand removal of python27 in on the horizon for good reason. Python27 doesn't *yet* have an EOL, and I'd like the time to make font-manager python3 performant. Rather than being required to re-introduce it to the ports tree. The attached svn(1) diff(1) removes the death sentence from x11-fonts/font-manager. I'm working on it as I submit this pr(1). Please stop doing this to my ports. I'm working on them, and this just adds even more time/work. That's it! Thanks! :) --Chris --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
