If you've replaced Sendmail then make sure you edit /etc/make.conf and make sure NO_SENDMAIL = true isn't commented out. This will leave whatever mail server you do run instead isn't overwritten. Otherwise it's nice and normal, pay attention during mergemaster (it's very important to do that anyway,) as you'd want to preserve your mailwrapper settings.
