Greetings FreeBSD guru's I am using FreeBSD 2.2.2 with the PAO laptop patches/extensions on my Toshiba laptop. I like it!!!! OK, it seems the FreeBSD world is moving on, 2.2.5 has come along, 3.x has come along. What is happening to the laptop support. has the PAO stuff been included in V3 ? If is not does anyone know if the people who put PAO together plan to do a V 2.2.5 or V3 version. Basically I would like to upgrade my laptop if possible to the latest version of FreeBSD but retain the cool functionaality that PAO provides. I suspect there may be others with the same question. It may have been asked before, but this group is of such high volume usage that it may have slipped by me. If thats so, can someone forward me a previous reply? Thanks in advance.
