Okay, I didn't notice this until now but there is a line at the top of the
boot prompt screen showing the amount of memory. I'm not sure if that's the
avail memory your talking about but I don't see anything else that could
be. Anyway its showing 64M as expected.

If you can get somebody to do that it would be a big help.
