The CIS department here at the university of Guelph uses hesiod for distrubting the kerberos database.. seems to work fine. we use lots of FreeBSD clients - although the machine running hesiod, etc. is a DEC 2100 (running 4.3BSD Reno, nonetheless!) I'd also be interested in trying it out on FreeBSD. I don't see why it wouldn't work. -Mark > > I won't do anything for a while, though. > > M > -- > Mark Murray > Join the anti-SPAM movement: http://www.cauce.org > > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Mayo mark@vmunix.com RingZero Comp. http://www.vmunix.com/mark finger mark@vmunix.com for my PGP key and GCS code ------------------------------------------------------------------------ "The problem is how do you build tools that understand your programs at a deeper semantic level." - James Gosling To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
