For what it's worth, there are Linux drivers for this card at http://appsr.intel.com/scripts-df/filter_results.asp?strOSs=39&strTypes=PLU%2CDR V%2CUTL&ProductID=415&OSFullName=Linux*&submit=Go%21 Well, the actual tarball of source isn't there for whatever reason, but it's supposed to be.
