trisha% pwd
/usr/ports/editors/openoffice.org-2.0
trisha% grep JAVA_VERSION Makefile
JAVA_VERSION=   1.4+
(OOo can use 1.4 or 1.5)

A quick google using "freebsd java" would've gotten you 
http://www.freebsdfoundation.org/downloads/java.shtml for JDK packages
