I'm sitting at the "fixit#" prompt in the fixit floppy... and when I: Fixit# disklabel -R wd0 /mnt2/wd0.label disklabel: Operation not supported by device Fixit# disklabel -R -r wd0 /mnt2/wd0.label disklabel: ioctl DIOCWLABEL: Operation not supported by device ... now I would search the archives for this... but that's not available at the momment.
