I'm experiencing a boot lockup using = the=20 freebsd-stable 4.6 cd as well as the 5.0 DP1 CD (and also various = versions of=20 linux -- debian (slack and redhat installation cd's boot = fine)).
 
System specs:
Dell Inspiron 2600
1.2g Celery
20gb IBM HD
128MB RAM
floppy
DVD
3c920 nic
Intel 830M video
