FreeBSD is an independant open-source project and can't really merge with BSDI in the corporate sense. WC CDROM and BSDI, however, have been in merger talks. I'm not at liberty to discuss what I know about this and suggest that you ask the people more directly involved such as Bob Bruce , the President of Walnut Creek CDROM. -DG David Greenman Co-founder/Principal Architect, The FreeBSD Project - http://www.freebsd.org Creator of high-performance Internet servers - http://www.terasolutions.com Pave the road of life with opportunities.
