It can be easily fixed. Just delete ~/.gtkrc-2.0 Joe and I both get the GLib-CRITICAL" message, but, while "CRITICAL", it is not fatal for us. From the fact that you then see the other two messages, I'd love to know why a few people have it die, but I don't think it is just the sys_page_size == 0' failed. I really don't think it's related to the Fontconfig message, though that does indicate that your fontconfig configuration need to be updated. The only message I get is the "GLib-CRITICAL" one. -- R.
