Another reply mentioned the changing the timing.  I also made the
changes at NSI so that one of the name server entries pointed to
the old name server IP block and one to the new name IP block.
Since those changes can take awhile I considered this an
appropriate way at the time. Then after we got totally on the new
network I changed the remaining NSI pointer.
