I run FreeBSD, NetBSD and Linux PVM (para-virtualized machines) and FreeBSD and Windows HVM (hardware virtualized machines) on my NetBSD dom0's. - Please start from http://www.netbsd.org/ports/xen/howto.html , but - this page might be obsolete. It's slightly out of date, as GRUB is no longer required to boot the dom0. Otherwise, it is fairly accurate. I would say the process is: Install NetBSD Install sysutils/xenkernel4 and sysutils/xentools4 from pkgsrc Install netbsd-XEN3_DOM0 into / Copy /usr/pkg/xen4-kernel/xen.gz to / Update /boot.cfg to load and boot /xen.gz, and load /netbsd-XEN3_DOM0 Reboot - Please advice me how to, if you can set it up !! I'll be happy to answer questions. -- Eric Schnoebelen eric@cirr.com http://www.cirr.com License plate seen on a car speeding by me: 4VRLATE
