If anyone wants to use a 3c982-TXM dual port ethernet card with FreeBSD I can report that it works. I had searched the mailing list archives and the web and could not find anything to either confirm or deny whether the card was supported. It works fine and is detected as two 3C905C adapters with sequential mac addresses. The port farthest from the motherboard is configured first, xl0 on my system the other is xl1.
