Well, you can do this.. ish. You must get the linux developement kit, and then compile Mesa for linux. Read ftp://rah.star-gate.com/pub/README.GLQUAKE which is Amancio's readme for getting glquake to run, and shows you how to compile Mesa under Linux. Its fairly easy to get the GL stuff, but the widget libs need a bit of hacking.
