https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D211345 Bug ID: 211345 Summary: dns/nss_mdns: remove in favor of mDNSResponder_nss ? Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ashish@FreeBSD.org Reporter: adam@spicenitz.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(ashish@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: ashish@FreeBSD.org I am looking at updating the upstream nss-mdns (though I am not the maintai= ner) and was wondering if the BSD portion of the code is still relevant. I notic= ed that the BSD support in the upstream code doesn't do anything without patch= es found in the ports tree. Is there interest in upstreaming these ports packages? Or could I suggest removing the BSD code from upstream nss-mdns if mDNSResponder_nss is the new way for BSD? --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
