I do use the D-Link DE-650 daily. If you use PAO be sure to *disable* the kernel ed0 driver. I found this counter-intuitive, when I first tried to use it and pccardd complained about the driver already being allocated or some such thing. I do not know if it is the same for 2.2.5 (assuming that is what you are using).
