This appears to be a problem on i386 too, but haven't tested yet. >Fix: Configure with the /boot/defaults/loader.conf file. Boots fine then. Remember to keep a copy of your loader.conf file, not in boot, or under another name. (eg. /boot/loader.conf~) There are warnings not to do this because of updates, but having a backup is a complete solution. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To: FreeBSD-gnats-submit@freebsd.org From: Bill Squire Reply-To: Bill Squire Cc: X-send-pr-version: 3.113 X-GNATS-Notify: System: FreeBSD curacao.billsf.net 8.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 8.0-CURRENT #0: Sat Jan 1 7 23:01:12 CET 2009 root@curacao-test.billsf.net:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/CURACAO-SM Pv8 amd64
