Jamie, I'm not sure what you need in a laptop. I just picked up a Toshiba 330CDS (266MHz) that needs some RAM added to make it run a bit smoother, but for the money, I think it's great! 32mb ram onboard (but can add up to 128mb for a total of 160mb), floppy, cd, 4gb hd, 2mb video w/ 800x600 res, 10/100 pcmcia network card (plus a free slot for me to buy a modem card later!), opl-3ax audio (supported under pcm). -Otter p.s. look for an article I'm writing about its installation of 4.2-RELEASE/XF86-4 in the near future. }-----Original Message----- }From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG }[mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of }Jamie Heckford }Sent: Sunday, November 26, 2000 12:06 PM }To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG }Subject: laptops } } }Hi, } }Can anyone recommend any good laptops that will work with }freeBSD??
