Does that mean if one wanted to run dbus, the script in /usr/local/etc/rc.d/ isn't necessary? Ashish, when building with the dbus, gconf and gtk options turned off, emacs still depends on the dbus/gconf2/gtk2 ports. Is this intended? Joseph
