>Description:
I created a kernel config file and I am getting warning messages about
pnp and awe entries when I compile the new kernel. It almost looks like
it sees the PnP device (the sound card is the only one I have other than
PCI devices; video card and scsi controller) but it can't configure the
sound card. On bootup I see the following relevent messages:

  ....
  Probing for PnP devices:
  CSN 1 Vendor ID: CTL00e4 [0xe4008c0e] Serial 0x1d10fcdf
  ....
  ....
  sb_reset_dsp failed
  sb0 not found at 0x220
  sb_reset_dsp failed
  sbxvi0 not found
  sbmidi0 not found at 0x330
  awe0 at 0x620 on isa
  AWE32 not found
  opl0 not found at 0x388
  ....

I've tried to get it to work on FreeBSD 2.2.5 and 3.0 with no luck.
The card is a real Creative Labs SoundBlaster AWE64. Any ideas?
