FreeBSD 4.7, yes, I am installing from ports checking for GAL... 0.21 found configure: error: You need GAL 0.22 or higher to build evolution If you think you already have this installed, consult the README. ===> Script "configure" failed unexpectedly. Please report the problem to gnome@FreeBSD.org [maintainer] and attach the "/usr/ports/mail/evolution/work/evolution-1.2.1/config.log" including the output of the failure of your make command. Also, it might be a good idea to provide an overview of all packages installed on your system (e.g. an `ls /var/db/pkg`). *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/mail/evolution. All goes well until it gets looking for 'Gal.22'. My ports is updated and all that is there is 'Gal .021' How do I get by this to get Evolution loaded? UPDATE: I downloaded gal-0.22 and tried to ./configure and get the following error: "checking for iconv in -liconv... no checking for iconv... no configure: error: You need to install a working iconv implementation, such as ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/libiconv" This is already installed as shown below: athlon# pkg_info iconv-2.0_3 Charset conversion library and utilities -- Pete http://milneweb.com http://nomorevirus.com This message brought to you by FreeBSD 4.7 and Sylpheed-claws To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-gnome" in the body of the message
