This is getting better and I believe that, with a CardBus bridge that supports interrupt sharing, should just work. One possible concern is that you have a Toshiba and Toshiba has its own CardBus bridge, the ToPic, which does not seem to work really well. If this is the case with your computer, you may have some real problems, although I believe that it will work with some tweaks. Your dmesg output should tell you what CardBus chip your system uses. The primary developer for PCMCIA stuff has been trying to get working system with a ToPic controller for some time, so we can hope that the problems are resolved shortly.
