The machine doesn't have a domainname set in rc.conf
If you don't want this you could tell sendmail what
the domainname is. Take a look at sendmail.cf or
your mc file.

Because every FreeBSD machine is sending mail
at about 2:00 am. You have just disabled sendmail
as a deamon. Watch your crontab.
