Hi, I'm learning ARM, in particular things about C compiler optimizations. Now it's time to do some practice. I didn't purchase any hardware yet. A cheap start, I suppose, is to first try to run an emulation. I'm planning to do something like this: - make buildkernel etc. in /usr/src - install this to a image file - boot this image in QEmu Are there any caveats why this could be a bad idea? If not, is there a short tutorial for this on FreeBSD somewhere on the web? Thanks in advance. Bertram -- Bertram Scharpf Stuttgart, Deutschland/Germany http://www.bertram-scharpf.de
