https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D196678 --- Comment #165 from Jens Grassel <freebsd-ports@jan0sch.de> --- Thanks to an email from Michael I got it working (somehow). The solution was indeed removing the custom keyboard configuration and set = the keyboard layout and other stuff via something like `setxkbmap -model microsoft4000 -layout de -variant nodeadkeys` in the `~/.xinitrc` file. However for the machines that are used by multiple users (login manager is slim) this doesn't work because slim starts up with the default (us) keyboa= rd which is pretty annoying regaring entering passwords. So I guess I'll go hunting for another login manager which allows changing the keyobard layout. Many thanks for your help. I'd suggest that maybe something regarding this should be added to the pkg-message (not only the kern.evdev.rcpt_mask notic= e). Kind regards, Jens --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
